SEASON TICKET AUTO RENEWAL PROGRAM
The auto-renewal program is a quick and easy way for you to renew your Ottawa Black Bears season seats. Instead of having to confirm your renewal each season, the auto-renewal program allows you to simply continue your payment plan each year without having to go through the sign-up process every 12 months. You will only need to act if you would like to opt out of the program or make changes to your account. During future renewal campaigns, which traditionally run between February and April each year, we will provide you with at least 30 days notice of the deadline to make changes to your account (including opting out of the program).
PROGRAM FAQ
How will I be notified when it is time to decide if I’d like to opt out?
You will receive an email notification to the email address on your account at least 30 days prior to the deadline for opting out or making changes (the deadline date will be included in the email).
How do I opt out if I do not want to renew my season seats for the following season?
In the email notification mentioned above, there will be a link to a short online confirmation form you must fill out prior to the deadline date.
Will this affect my payment plan options?
No. We will continue to offer full payment or monthly payments through to December.
What if I want to make changes to my seat location, or package type?
You will be able to make any modifications to your season seat package prior to the deadline by speaking with your Membership Account Manager.
What if I want to change to a different payment plan, or update my payment method?
You will be able to make modifications to your payment plans and methods through your online account manager portal prior to the deadline.
Can I make changes to my Season Seat Package after the deadline date passes?
It is preferred to have all changes, upgrades or payment modifications done prior to the deadline. Please be sure to contact your Account Manager as soon as possible.
If I choose to opt out, can I then renew at a later date?
Yes, absolutely!
What happens if I forget to opt out before the deadline?
Once the auto-renewal deadline has passed, your season package cannot be cancelled until the following year’s opt-out window. To make sure you do not miss critical notifications about your season seat package, be sure to keep a close eye on email communications from the Ottawa Black Bears (we will send several notifications).
Why do you have auto renewal?
The auto renewal program is designed to simplify your experience in securing your seats year over year, while also helping us manage our ticket inventory for new and existing customers.
So, I can renew my season seats by not doing anything?
Correct. If you want to maintain your season seats, location, payment method and terms, you will not need to do anything prior to the deadline. You get to sit back, relax, and enjoy Black Bears Lacrosse games!
If I renew my season seats and the team makes the playoffs, does this mean I get my seats for playoffs?
Playoffs are not automatically included in season packages. However, as a season seat member, you will be provided first access to secure your seats for any post-season action. We will send email notifications with these opportunities.
