Hard on the heels of sold out events across Canada, a brand new Monster Spectacular show will roar into Ottawa on Saturday, May 24*. Fans will see some of the biggest, baddest monster trucks on the planet rattling the roof of Canadian Tire Centre. The show will also feature freestyle motocross, a professional speed bike stunt show with road racing motorcycles that will dazzle the crowd with impossible feats on two wheels and BMX riders with exceptional trickery.

World Champion Jimmy Creten, who has redesigned both the truck and the graphic design of the world famous Bounty Hunter, will be as aggressive as always with more than 1,500 horsepower at his disposal to try to fend off challengers vying for his title.

Trent Montgomery, one of the wildest drivers ever seen in the sport, drove Red Baron to a spectacular crash during the final Monster Spectacular event last season. The Canadian truck will no doubt live up to his catch phrase “no pain, no gain” when he makes his first appearance in Ottawa this May.

The legend Mike Vaters is back behind the wheel of Black Stallion; Vaters is making an enormous comeback on the Canadian circuit.

Four-time A.M.T.R.A Champion Jim Koehler is on a mission. After more than 15 years of driving monster trucks at the top of the game, the Port Huron, Mich., native is looking to recapture the world title with Avenger. When the light turns green, fans will find out that they don’t call Koehler “unarmed but dangerous” for nothing.

Monster Spectacular will once again feature modified ATV races (fast oval races) and professional speed bike stunts highlighted by two members of the world famous Hub City Extreme Riders (Moncton, N.B.) performing never-before-seen stunts on road racing motorcycles. Twisting the throttle hard, the riders will perform wheelies with no hands, front wheel stands, chainsaw zeros and even stand straight up on the tank while flying across the arena at full speed.
