Hard on the heels of adrenaline-charged shows across Canada, Monster Spectacular has announced that it will roar into Ottawa on Saturday, May 30, at 7 p.m. Fans will see some of the biggest, baddest monster trucks on the planet rattle the roof of Canadian Tire Centre. The show will also feature freestyle motocross, a professional speed bike stunt show with road racing motorcycles that will dazzle the crowd with impossible feats on two wheels and BMX riders with exceptional trickery.

Former World Freestyle Champion Jimmy Creten, has a sterling reputation as an owner and as a driver. Known for creating top-flight equipment with massive horsepower, Creten has recently redesignedBounty Hunter’s suspension to fend off challengers and put his freestyle skills to the test.

In a short amount of time, Trent Montgomery has quickly risen to the top of the monster truck industry. With numerous wins under his belt, including a victory at Canadian Tire Centre in 2014 driving Red Baron, Montgomery has shown he’s a threat to win every competition. With a determined attitude and driven mindset, Montgomery isn’t afraid to do what it takes to bring home a trophy.

The legend, Steve Koehler, is making a comeback on the Canadian monster truck circuit behind the wheel of Wrecking Crew. Koehler first made his name in the sport as a mechanical master by constantly preparing and repairing Avenger and Brutus, while Team Scream became among the sport’s elite. It’s no surprise that Koehler has a reputation for giving fans a no-holds-barred spectacular every time he roars Wrecking Crew into the arena.

After more than 15 years of driving monster trucks at the top of the game, two-time World Freestyle Champion Jim Koehler is looking to recapture the world title with Avenger. Known as “Mr. Excitement”, fans can expect an over-the-top, wild freestyle performance when the light turns green at Canadian Tire Centre. They don’t call Koehler “unarmed but dangerous” for nothing.

Monster Spectacular will once again feature modified ATV races and professional speed bike stunts performed by two members of Montreal’s Stunt Mania team performing never-before-seen maneuvers on road racing motorcycles. Twisting the throttle hard, the riders will perform wheelies with no hands, front wheel stands, chainsaw zeros and even stand straight-up on the tank while flying across the arena at full speed.
