Canadian Tire Centre to host Binghamton Senators game on Feb. 13, 2016

Tickets on sale on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. via Capital Tickets

In conjunction with Ottawa’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, Canadian Tire Centre announced today that the venue will host a regular-season game between the club and the Syracuse Crunch (AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning) on Saturday, Feb. 13, at 5 p.m. in support of youth mental health and D.I.F.D. through the Ottawa Senators Foundation.

“This game has fast become a tradition we’re pleased to maintain,” said B-Sens general manager and Ottawa Senators assistant general manager Randy Lee. “Due to the close proximity between cities, our rivalry with the Crunch is among our biggest in Binghamton. It should make for a very competitive game. I know our players look forward to putting on a strong performance for our fans in Ottawa.”

The annual showcase, which is hosted in conjunction with Mattamy Homes and Ashbury College, will see the B-Sens oppose the Lightning’s prospects in Ottawa for the first time, enabling local fans to potentially obtain a glimpse of the Atlantic Division rivals’ future. In addition to possibly featuring local players Mark Fraser, Danny Hobbs and Eric O’Dell, the B-Sens roster also includes Senators prospects Ryan Dzingel, Tobias Lindberg, Max McCormick, Nick Paul and Matt O’Connor.

Ticket prices are $12.50, $15 and $20 (prices inclusive of all taxes, but excluding CRF fee and convenience charges). Tickets go on sale on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased by visiting www.CapitalTickets.ca, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at each of the 10 participating Canadian Tire stores in Ottawa as well as the store in Perth, The Sens Store at Carlingwood Mall and Place d’Orléans, any Ottawa Sports Experts location, Les Galeries de Hull, Ottawa Festivals and at the Canadian Tire Centre box office.
