Frequently Asked Questions
Accessible Seating
Accessible seating is available for purchase to games and events at Canadian Tire Centre. If you require accessible seats, please purchase tickets in advance that are indicated to be in accessible areas by using the accessible seating filter on Ticketmaster. Accessible seats may be purchased as a single or in pairs (up to a maximum of four) to accommodate both the person(s) in need of accessible seating and support person(s)/companions. Please note, for events where ticket sales are limited to fewer than four tickets per person, the same ticket restrictions will apply to the purchase of accessible seating. For events where accessible seating is offered on the floor, those purchasing accessible seats should be aware that seats are not on a riser, so views may be obstructed. Portable chairs are provided for fans who do not require a wheelchair.
Accessible Parking
Parking spaces for guests with disabilities are available for purchase on Ticketmaster or on a first-come, first-served basis in Lot A at the southeast corner of Canadian Tire Centre. To access the accessible parking lot, you must have a government issued hang tag, at which point you may either purchase a regular parking pass or present any pre-paid parking pass you may have already purchased. Those without a government issued hang tag will be redirected to a general parking lot.
Accessible Formats
Publicly available documents can be provided in an accessible format (e.g., large print, audio, text, email) or with communication support, upon request. Senators Sports & Entertainment (SSE) will consult with the person making the request to determine the suitability of the format or communication support. We will provide the accessible format in a timely manner at a cost that is no more than the regular cost charged to other persons. To request documentation in an accessible format or with communication support please email accessibility@ottawasenators.ca or contact SSE’s Director, Security and Guest Services by phone at – 613-599-0122.

Wheelchair escorts are available at these times from Gate 3 and will take guests to their seats and arrange for pick-up at the end of the event. All restrooms on all levels of Canadian Tire Centre are accessible. Private, unisex restrooms are located on the 300 level.
Sensory Inclusion
Canadian Tire Centre has partnered with Kulture City, a non-profit provider specializing in sensory inclusive modifications, to offer sensory bags with tools that reduce the stimulus often associated with sporting and entertainment events. Bags can be signed out free of charge at our Guest Services booth located on the 200 Level at the Gate 1 entrance. The bags include sunglasses, noise reducing earmuffs, fidget toys and bacterial wipes. SSE also provides access to quiet areas in the Canadian Tire Centre located at Gate 2, Gate 3, and behind our Guest Services booth outside Section 201. Use of these spaces can be pre-arranged by contacting our Guest Services team at 613-599-0122 or organized during an event by visiting the Guest Services booth.
Service Animals
Service animals may accompany patrons in areas of the facility open to the general public unless otherwise prohibited by law. Patrons should ensure that they have the proper documentation that identifies their animal as a certified service animal. To obtain further information relating to Canadian Tire Centre’s service animal and support person policies, please contact accessibility@ottawasenators.ca or SSE’s Director, Security and Guest Services at – 613-599-0122.
Support Person
All patrons entering our facility, including those acting as a support person, are required to hold a valid ticket. Tickets for a support person are subject to standard event pricing. If a patron and their support person come to an event and have tickets in different sections, our Guest Services team will do their best to relocate them to a location where they can be seated together. The ability to do this will be based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. If they cannot be seated together, we will ensure that our guest can access his/her support person while in our facility. If a support person does not have a ticket to the event, our Box Office will work with the guest to allow them to purchase a ticket, when available.
