- What is the auto-renewal program?
The auto-renewal program is a way to simplify the process of renewing your Ottawa Black Bears Season Seat Membership. Season Seat Members have a 30-day opt-out window should they wish not to renew their season seats. Following the 30-day opt-out window, Season Seat Memberships are automatically renewed. Your Account Representative and organization will communicate over the 30–day window.
This year’s season seat membership auto–renews on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
- Are there perks to auto-renewing?

- Secure your seats and the best price on playoff tickets for every game played at Canadian Tire Centre (opt-in for playoffs is required through Account Manager)
- Secure 2 Additional Complimentary 2025-26 Playoff Tickets*
- Gain access to purchase additional single game tickets for the post-season at a preferred rate
- Continue to receive discounts at Ottawa Team Shop during the off-season
*Additional tickets are for the first home game during the post-season, contingent on the Black Bears hosting a home game. No rainchecks.

- If I have season seats, am I automatically enrolled in auto-renewal for future seasons?
Yes. Accepting the Auto–Renewal program is part of the terms and conditions when you purchase your season seats. You will be able to opt-out of the auto-renewal program within the 30-day opt out window which is communicated by the Black Bears each year.
- So, I can renew my season seats by not doing anything?
Exactly that! If you are happy with your seats and payment method, sit back and relax while we do the rest. You do not need to do anything during the 30-day opt-out period to continue to enjoy the best Lacrosse in Ottawa!
Opting out
- How will I be notified when it is time to decide if I'd like to opt out?
You will be notified via email through the email address on your account when the 30-day opt-out window begins. You will receive a minimum of four emails during the 30 day opt-out period.
- How do I opt out if I do not want to renew my season seats for the following season?
Season Seat Members who wish to opt– out must fill out an online form during the 30-day opt-out window. This form is found in your Account Manager which will be linked in all email communications.
- If I choose to opt out during the auto-renew period, can I renew at a later date?
Yes, you can always secure season seats later if you choose to opt– out during the 30-day window. However, you may lose some of the benefits associated with your account including seat location, early bird pricing or special offers.
Once the 30‑day opt‑out window closes, your membership cannot be cancelled until the next opt‑out period the following year. We’ll send four reminder emails to the address on your account, so you don’t miss it. All tickets and season packages are non-refundable.
Payment plan
- Will this affect my payment plan options?
Your current payment plan will remain the same whether it is a monthly plan or pay in full. If you wish to make changes, please contact your Account Manager or phone 613-599-0331.
- What if I want to make changes to my seat location or package type?
If you have any questions or wish to make changes to your account, please contact your Account Manager by phoning 613-599-0331 or emailing seasonmembers@ottawablackbears.com. For best seating options and pricing, we recommend doing this before the opt-out window closes on April 1, 2026.

- What if I want to change to a different payment plan or update my payment method?
You can update both your method of payment and payment plan type during the auto– renewal process in your online Account Manager. If you have any questions or wish to make changes to your account, please contact your Account Manager by phoning 613-599-0331 or emailing seasonmembers@ottawablackbears.com.
