Summer 2014 will mark the triumphant return of Michael Bublé, as he will be embarking on a Canadian tour that will include eight different cities across the country, which includes a stop at Ottawa’sCanadian Tire Centre on Wednesday, July 2.

Bublé is currently wrapping-up a 40 date tour of the U.S. in support of his sixth studio album, To Be Loved, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Magazine’s Top 200 Pop Charts in April. As a gift to fans, a specially-priced package coupling To Be Loved with Bublé’s perennial chart-topping collection,Christmas, was released exclusively to Canadian retail outlets on Monday, Nov. 11. An international superstar, Bublé played 10 sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena and another five nights to a capacity crowd at the O2 in Dublin this past summer. His previous Crazy Love Tour sold out in 80 U.S. cities and was seen by over two million fans worldwide. To Be Loved is Bublé’s fourth consecutive No. 1 album. In conjunction with the release, he co-hosted The Today Show and appeared on Live! with Kelly & Michael, The Ellen Show, Nightline, Dancing with the Stars, Chelsea Lately and a surprise appearance in a New York subway station that immediately went viral. The Grammy Award-winning artist has had global sales in excess of 45 million albums over the course of his extraordinary decade long career.

To Be Loved, produced by Bob Rock, was recorded in Vancouver and Los Angeles and includes a mix of standards as well as four original songs all co-written by Bublé. After All, which is one of four originals, was co-written and performed with fellow Canadian Bryan Adams. The album also includes hits previously recorded by some of Bublé’s musical heroes including the Bee Gees hit To Love Somebody, Dean Martin’s Nevertheless (I’m In Love With You), the Jackson 5’s smash hit Who’s Loving You, Jackie Wilson’s To Be Loved and Elvis Presley’s classic Have I Told You Lately. Bublé is joined by actress Reese Witherspoon on Something Stupid, which was originally performed as a duet by Frank and Nancy Sinatra.
