His debut album also produced the Platinum-certified No. 1 smash Get Me Some of That, as well as two Top 15 hits, Beer With Jesus andSomething To Do With My Hands. About Frankie Ballard
Since releasing his first No. 1, Gold-certified smash Helluva Life, Ballard has lit up the country music scene and continues the hot streak with his follow-up infectious anthem Sunshine & Whiskey, which has sold nearly 400,000 copies to date, shot to Top 10 on the iTunes Country Songs Chart and is on the verge of Top 10 at Country radio. Both songs are featured on his latest album, Sunshine & Whiskey, which debuted in the Top 5 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart, and Rolling Stone noted the album as “required listening.” Produced by Marshall Altman (Marc Broussard), the project captures the newcomer’s unique blend of blues-infused, country rock and his undeniable guitar prowess on every song. The Battle Creek, Mich., native will launch his first headline run this fall with the Light ‘em Up Tour as part of the exclusive Live Nation Ones To Watch with Skype tour that taps today’s hottest emerging artists. His dynamic live show has caught the eye of many headliners, including Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift, Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts and long-time idol Bob Seger, who have previously tapped him for coveted opening slots. He first captured the national spotlight with hits Tell Me You Get Lonely and A Buncha Girls. For more information, visit www.frankieballard.com.
