The one and only Cher revealed that she will kick-off her Dressed to Kill 49-city North American tour on March 22 in Phoenix, with stops in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Las Vegas and other major markets including Ottawa (Canadian Tire Centre). Cher, an icon in the entertainment industry whose career has spanned more than six decades, shared the happy news with her fans prior to her performance on theToday Show earlier this week.
Cher’s previous tour, The Farewell Tour later dubbed The Never Can Say Goodbye Tour, was one of the most successful tours ever by a solo artist and played for a record-breaking 325 dates and was seen by over 5.5 million fans worldwide.
Ticketholders who purchase tickets online (pre-sale and general public) will receive a free copy of Cher’s new album Closer to the Truth, which was released on Sept. 24 by Warner Bros Records.
Cher is in New York this week celebrating the album’s release with appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman (Sept. 24) and Live! with Kelly & Michael (Oct. 1). She will also be appearing as a mentor with Blake Shelton on NBC’s The Voice in October.
